Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell convened at the U.S. Capitol on Sept. 3, 2025, for a press conference calling for full disclosure via the Epstein Files Transparency Act—while President Trump directed a military flyover to disrupt the gathering with jets circling overhead, timed with President Trump's White House meeting with Polish President Karol Nawrocki. Bipartisan lawmakers Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) organized the event, hosted by World Without Exploitation, which included firsthand accounts exposing institutional lapses that enabled Epstein's operations. The rally followed the House Oversight Committee's release of more than 33,000 pages of documents, largely deemed repetitive, highlighting persistent struggles over safeguards for influential figures. Drawing on the 2008 "sweetheart deal" that extended the abuse, attendees shifted from victims to advocates, urging unredacted records and responsibility to recognize roughly 1,000 victims and curb further harm.
